Where to pick-up from

How does life get crazy and then weeks go by and you realize you haven't blogged in quite some time....Does that happen to you too?!?! Sigh...sorry to my readers... I've been thinking about you and REALLY wanting to get on here but we have been going NONSTOP!!!

So Tomorrow is 20 Things Monday so I am going to save all my REALLY good stuff for then. 

But I am sure I still have some other stuff!

1st- I NEED SOME ASSISTANCE! Does anyone know a bit about blogger?!?! I would like to make some other pages for things like recipes and such. I've been messing around on here for quite some time but am not really getting anywhere. So if you can help me out! I'd LOVE to have it!


2nd- Like my new page look?!?!

10 more things for this rainy Monday!

11....I Missed Hot Yoga
So I got Coffee......

That's the same thing right?!?! Then I came home and did Yoga.....I mean I am certified :)

12.I started using Spotify. Any tips or things I should know I would LOVE to hear! I'm sure I am missing out on some cool features.

13.EXCITING THINGS ARE COMING!!!!! I can't give out too many details but there are some exciting things coming so make sure you have liked my Facebook Page and please share it with friends! I am REALLY super excited for things coming!!!!

14. I had a FABULOUS Saturday morning Body Pump Class and then I got to grab a quick cup of coffee with this amazing lady!
AMAZING Start to a day!!!

15. We are starting 2 new small group training teams at Midlothian Athletic Club. They are both 6 week training programs with 4 different sessions a week! 


               TRX Sessions will be Coached be either myself or Tracy Brooks 
Train like you've never trained before to get results you've never had before!

Grit Sessions are 30mins down and dirty training....Check out this video to get a taste of what you are in for.

We have rates for members and non-members!

17. So I was most excited about being the fashion show to get my make-up done because .... well I don't really do all that much. I was excited for someone to make me look gorgeous...let's just say they failed. The only other time I have gone to have someone do my make-up and hair I couldn't wash my face fast enough....SO Anyone know an AMAZING make-up artist? I would love to have someone do my make-up and break this awful streak I am having! Or even if you are great at it and want to make me over I'll provide wine :) Just thought I'd throw it out there!

18. I am Beyond SUPER DUPER EXCITED for my Body Jam class tonight!!! This Rainy Monday is in need of some good booty shaking!!! We have ways for non-members to join us ( Class Cards are AWESOME!! ) Message me I would SOOOOO love to dance with you tonight!



19. True Fact: If I don't finish this soon I will miss my daughters school bus!!!!

It's Monday so here are the 20 things.....Well 10 for now :)

1. Today's weather is killing ALL my motivations! BUT I will over come it!!! Body Pump-DONE! Hot Yoga-Right after Lunch BodyJam-Tonight!

2. My baby Lost her first tooth!!! I'm still not sure how I feel about this but she is just too cute!

3. I tried crossfit this week with 2 fabulous ladies! Thanks for inviting me Stacy! And I hope you are walking better Seo! :)

4. How did you celebrate Cinco de Mayo? Mine with with some leftover curry....sigh....maybe next year?

5. I was in a fashion show this past week called Aces for Awareness. All the models were cancer survivors. I  met some great ladies! They gave me Pink hair!

6. Being around all those Cancer survivors messed with my head so I spent Friday night curled up on the couch...

7. While we are on the subject of cancer (Ugh what a downer!!! )....I paid off ALL my medical bills this week!!! Cancer is an expensive fucker!!!! I can't tell you how happy this makes me!!!

8. I did this to my nails....

9. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE join my Run like a girl team! We are team CO2 Fit! June 2nd! I will be running it with my daughter on her 9th birthday!! Both my sisters!!!! and hopefully my mom will be joining us too!! I'd love to run with you as well!!!

10. I cleaned out my closet this weekend....

It's Food Friday!!!

Hello Friday!

I am going to keep this shortish as I have things I need to go get done.....

But I must say I have had some Yummy food this week! 
I haven't taken nearly as many pictures as I should have. Sigh... I am always too hungry to think pictures :)


But what I did take pictures of was delicious!

 Green coconut curry with ginger!!!
A family favorite! Instead of putting mine over rice like normal I ate it over spinach. I let the warm curry cook the spinach down just a little! OMG!!!!


Yesterday my Friend +Seo Kelleher  and I decided to try the hidden menu from Panera. It's so hidden they don't even have it printed out, they can only read it to you. But lots of delicious and healthy options

This was my steak salad!

And Seo's Egg and steak bowl...but they were out of eggs so she just got extra steak :)

I will definitely be using this hidden menu again!!!!

So my biggest accomplishment of the week was my dinner last night....

I've been wanting to incorporate sauerkraut into my diet because of the health benefits.
 ( can you say Natural Probiotics!!! )

But let's be honest I have NEVER used it to cook and I was pretty certain my family was going to give me a collective HELLO NO.

I've been considering this meal for a good two weeks...Yesterday I decided just to go for it.

Chicken sausage (Thank you Trader Joe's for a clean version! ), Potatoes, Peppers and Onions, and Sauerkraut. I replaced my potatoes with sweet potatoes.

Ok I know it doesn't look the best! But if you could have heard the chorus of mmm's and yummy, oh my god this is so good!

I was told this is a new favorite meal and they want it again tonight! HAHAHA

WINNING!!!!!

One more note before I have to run. While this may not seem like a big deal to you, I have made it through the week with no nuts! Next week I will start trying different kinds to figure out exactly which ones were making me feel crappy. But the fact that I did it AMAZES me! YAY me!!!

The love of sisters!

So I know that I said Wednesday's was "Shit my Girls Say/Do" but I had the
privileged of  spending  the past night and day with them due to illness.
 No school or work, just time with my girls. I am always blown away by the love
between them and I am so thankful that they get to have a sister,
 because sisters are the most amazing things in the world EVER!

From day 1 Malia has ADORED her sassy little sister....

So while I don't have something funny they said ( although I'm sure they happened ) this is my favorite conversation I over heard between the two of them.

In the middle of the night Monday night when Ava started throwing up and Malia was coughing and shivering from her fever, Malia completely ignored her own sickness and went to comfort Ava. Ava lifted her head from the bucket and said "Thanks Malia I already feel better" 



No matter what I can always be proud of the great relationship my little ladies have developed.

The incredible Egg!

So last night I decided to snuggle up with Steve and watch some tv before bedtime.

Well of course Steve being Steve we ended up watching Modern Marvels on the History Channel.

This one was all about Eggs. 

They broke down the difference between caged and free range or pasteurized  chickens, ostrich eggs, quail eggs, egg whites, ect ect ect.

Eggs are one of my favorite foods. I eat them at least once a day with tons of veggies added in. Absolutely one of my favorite meals!!! 



Eggs have amazing benefits for your health and are one of the cheapest forms of protein you can get! 



I'm still trying ways to make a perfect hard boiled egg but my lovely friend +Jennifer Uebelhoer Forstner just gave me a new way to try so watch out you fucking hard boiled eggs I will conquer you!!!

So let's go count down 10 more things for this rainy Monday

10. This one was one my favorite meals this week.... Mexican salad!!!

Kale and romaine lettuce, purple cabbage, cucumbers, cilantro, tomatoes, sauteed peppers and onions, grass fed beef, avocado, banana peppers, and salsa....YUMMY!!!!

9. Why are old habits SO easy to fall back into? I have some how slowly switched back to drinking WAY too much coffee and not enough tea and water. This cloudy weather isn't helping me either!!!

8. I miss these two more then I would miss my right arm!
If your sisters were this cool you'd miss them too! Come on June I can't wait to see these two ladies!!!!

5. I made delicious coconut banana pancakes yesterday. Steve said "oh are they healthy? I don't want them" I told him Shut-up stop acting like a 4 year old who just doesn't like something because it is healthy.

4. This man totally rocked this weekend!

-He took the girls to Toys R Us all by himself!
-Every time I started freaking out cause I was grounded to the couch this weekend he would just hug me
-When I couldn't stop snacking this weekend all he said was good you need to eat.
-He cleaned this weekend!

3. I won an airbrush tan at my favorite place Bombshell I can't wait to get it!!!

2. I just tried to schedule it so I could have it done before a fashion show I am in on Friday but no spots open....oh well looks like I'll be all pale for the fashion show.

1. Hooray I did it.... 20 things were really hard this week! Now to review the new body jam for tonight and see if I can find some shoes I can wear...
